Our Ninja classes are great for kids (Ages 4 - 15). For each class, we split the kids into groups by age and skill level. Classes start at 4pm and 5pm. We have a Ninja Team that typically meets at 6pm. To make the ninja team, athletes must complete a series of skills tests and be asked to join the team.
We encourage parents and daycare groups to bring toddlers during the morning preschool class times at 10am on Tuesday and Thursday. We don't teach a class so much as provide them with a safe environment to play and explore. Coaches, parents and day-care staff will help guide them, but their is no structured class.
Yes! We want to see more college kids at Leap. We have plans that make it more affordable and any time we have open gym, it is a good time for college kids to join. With our college plan, they can also join us for morning workouts at 5am and 6am, as well as noon, and 5pm.
Our focus is on Ninja Obstacle Courses, like what you see on American Ninja Warrior on tv. We want you to have fun with your friends and family while challenging yourself to conquer a host of obstacles. Our coaches will guide you along your journey. We want you to strive for more, get some grit and learn to conquer obstacles wherever they may be.
We see the most progress when members can attend 2-3 classes per week and 1-2 open training sessions.
Yes. We have preschool classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00am. During this time, we are focused on providing 30-40 minutes of instruction and 20-30 minutes of play.
Yes, teens are best suited for the 6:00 PM time slot each day, where they have a choice to do Open Training or join a teen ninja class. However, any time we have open gym from noon till 7:30 or closing, they are welcome to come in for Open Training. Coaches will be around, but they will not always be teaching a class. If we have enough interest, we will create a dedicated class or two for teens.
We take all levels and encourage you to give it a try. While some of the more advanced obstacles take lots of practice, we have plenty of other obstacles that just take a little practice. We have 7 year olds that can get up the 12 foot wall and 11 year olds that can get up the 14 1/2 foot wall.
We change two or three obstacles every week. This keeps things fresh and encourages members to try new things. Check out the blog for our obstacle of the week. Then, come try it out and see how you compare to your fellow ninjas.
Functional fitness classes are geared towards adults. Classes usually last an hour and we guide you through the workout of the day. We believe in constantly varied movements with a mixture of intensity. You can do the workout of the day with a group at 5am, 6am, noon, and 5pm. Or, you can do the workout of the day on your own or with a friend whenever we are open. We offer a fair amount of open gym time, where you can always come in and do your own thing. We encourage adults to mix it up and get on the ninja equipment as well. If you are looking for a way to get amazing abs, try doing ninja 3-4 times per week.
